Root Galaxy Note 2
This is my tutorial on how to safely root the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. You will be able to retain all apps and data.

Step by Step Procedure to Root Galaxy Note 2
Step 1:
Download the following files- PC Odin
- Samsung Kies (Download and Install)
- CWM.zip
Step 2:
Put your Galaxy Note 2 in download mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power + Home.
Step 3:
Connect your Galaxy Note 2 to the PC and open up PC Odin by clicking odin3 v3.07.exe from the 1st zip file downloaded.Step 4:
Now extract the cwm6-root-note2.zip that we downloaded, you will get a cwm6-root-note2.tar file, Do not extract further.
Click on PDA on Odin and select the cwm6-root-note2.tar file, make sure that Re-Partition is not checked, leave all as it is and click START and wait for the process to complete.
Once done you will have SuperSU and CWM Recovery on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100, this means that you now have Full Root access and a Custom Recovery.
